It gives me great pleasure to invite you to visit us on Thursday 22nd September for our new intake Open Evening.
Our Open Evening will provide you with an insight into our wonderful school, our values, and opportunities for each of our students. It is a chance to meet some of our students, members of staff, our leadership team and myself about our curriculum and fantastic facilities.
Our school will be open for visitors from 5.30pm until 8.30pm. Due to the high numbers expected during the evening we are asking all visitors to book one of two sessions.
To book your tickets directly, simply click HERE:
Or, alternatively, you can email us on office@woodrush.org or call us directly on 01564 823777 between 8.30 and 4.00pm
Woodrush High School is an Academy for Students Aged 11 to 18 located in Wythall, serving students from Worcestershire, Birmingham, Solihull and Warwickshire. We are a highly successful place of learning and personal development and, in our most recent inspection, we were judged as ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ features by Ofsted. Leadership and management, Personal Development and Behaviour were all judged as ‘Outstanding’.
Students of Woodrush High School and members of our Curriculum, Pastoral and Senior Leadership, will be available during the evening to talk to you about Woodrush, and you will have an opportunity to tour the whole school. I will be delivering a presentation about our school at 5.40pm for Session 1 and 7.10pm in Session 2.
We are very proud of our students and their achievement and we look forward to sharing some of these endeavours with you during the evening.
Our School Prospectus, which will also contain our admissions summary will be available when you arrive at the main entrance of the school. We would also encourage you to read our Ofsted report which is available on our website.
Parking will be available in the Visitors' Sports Centre car park (between The Coppice Primary School and Woodrush High School) but this will inevitably be insufficient for the numbers visiting the school, so please take care if parking in roads near the school. Due to the one-way system we ask that all visitor approach the school through the main entrance on Shawhurst Lane.
If you are unable to attend our Open Evening, the school will also be open for you to join us and see us at work on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th September from 9.00am. To arrange for a morning tour of the school, please contact the school directly on 01564 823 777 between 8.30am and 4.00pm.
If you are unable to attend either event, please contact us at school and we would be pleased to arrange another mutually agreeable time.
Finally, I’d like to thank you for your interest in our school, we very much hope you can join us and enjoy the tour.
